Israel's massive attack on Yemen; Airstrikes including on the area containing the presidential palace

 

 

Sanaa: Israel has carried out airstrikes on Houthi military bases in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa. The Israeli military said that the attacks targeted areas near the presidential palace, power plants and fuel storage facilities. The explanation is that this is a response to repeated attacks on Israel by the Houthi army.

Houthi media reports that two people were killed in the attack. Both were killed in an attack on an oil company. International news agencies stated that the Houthi Al-Masirah TV reported that five people were injured. The Israeli military stated that the reason for the attack was that the presidential palace in Sanaa is located inside a military compound where Houthi activities are controlled.

The Houthis had said the previous day that a ballistic missile had been fired at Israel. This was followed by an attack from Israel. Since the start of Israel's war in Gaza against Hamas, the Houthis have come out in solidarity with Palestine. The Houthis have attacked Israeli ships in the Red Sea. In response, Israel has also attacked areas under Houthi control, including the port of Hodeidah.
