Suicide attacks in three places in Pakistan kill 25, including soldiers

 

 

 

Islamabad: 14 people were killed in a suicide attack in Pakistan. 14 people were killed in a suicide attack on a political rally in southwestern Balochistan on Tuesday. Balochistan is Pakistan's largest and most resource-rich province, but it is also the poorest in the country and consistently ranks among the lowest on human development indices. It has also been the scene of infiltration attempts by the Pakistani military for more than a decade.

In 2024 alone, 782 people were killed in the region. More than 430 people, most of them soldiers, have been killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since January 1, according to figures released by the AFB.
