Trump mocks India and Russia; Looks like they have lost to 'dark and mysterious' China, reaction with picture

 

 

Washington: US President Donald Trump has said that India and Russia have gone to a 'darker' China. This indicates that relations between Washington and New Delhi have deteriorated further. Trump's reaction came after sharing a picture of the leaders of the three countries standing together at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit held in Tianjin, China.

The Tianjin SCO summit, hosted by Chinese President Xi Jinping, was attended by several world leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin. In the wake of the US President's tariff war, many had assessed the friendship of the three leaders as indicating a 'turning point' and a 'new world order'.

'It seems that we have lost India and Russia to a darker China. May they have a long and prosperous future! Trump wrote on social media. Trump's Truth Social post shared a picture of Narendra Modi, Putin and Xi Jinping standing together. Bilateral relations between India and the US are at their worst in years after the Trump administration imposed a 50 percent tariff on India last month.
