Carrot payasam

Ingredients

2 cups grated carrot, 1 tablespoon ghee, 2 cups milk, 1/2 cup sugar, 4 saffron petals, 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder, 50 grams milkmaid, 8 cashew nuts.

How to prepare:-

Heat half a tablespoon of ghee in a pan, add carrots and sauté for 10 minutes on low heat. Then pour one cup of milk and boil on low heat. Once the carrots are cooked, add sugar and cook for 5 minutes, stirring well. Add saffron to one tablespoon of milk and pour it into the carrot mixture. Then add half a cup of milk, cardamom powder and milkmaid and boil until thick. Add the remaining milk and turn off the heat. Heat ghee in a pan, add cashew nuts and sauté and add to the payasam.
