California: What jobs will AI eliminate? With artificial intelligence taking hold in all areas, there are doubts and questions on everyone's minds. Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, one of the giants in the AI field, is giving some warnings to the world. Altman's prediction is that which jobs will be changed first by AI. Sam Altman's observation is that AI will eliminate customer service/support jobs first.

AI will first take over current customer support jobs that are done over the phone or via computer. Many people who do customer support jobs will lose their jobs. Programmers will be another category that will lose their jobs. Sam Altman recently told The Tucker Carlson Show that someone told him that jobs change by an average of 50 percent every 75 years. But Sam Altman has backed away from his previous stance that customer service/support jobs that require humans will disappear completely. Altman added that no matter how good the advice given by AI or robots is, we will have to rely on it in the future. Altman also says that roles that require human interaction, like nursing, are unlikely to disappear in the AI era.

This is not the first time that news of customer service jobs being taken over by AI has emerged. Oracle announced last year that it aims to transfer all of its customer support systems to AI. Salesforce CEO recently mentioned that the company would eliminate 4,000 live agents from its support team.
