Five-year-old boy beheaded in front of mother; Locals beat him to death; Incident in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh

 

 

Dhar: A five-year-old boy was beheaded in front of his mother in Madhya Pradesh. The incident took place in a village near Dhar city in Madhya Pradesh. The five-year-old boy, Vikas, was killed. While trying to stop the attacker, his mother was also beaten. Hearing the screams, the locals rushed to the spot and beat up the accused. He was later handed over to the police, but he died before reaching the hospital. The police have received information that the accused is mentally challenged.

The brutal murder was committed by Mahesh (25), a native of Jobat Bagdi in Alirajpur district. The murder took place in the house of a family with whom he had no previous knowledge. The accused, who came here on a bike this morning, entered the house and attacked the five-year-old boy with a weapon found in the house. The information is coming out that the head was severed from the boy's body. The child's mother was also attacked when she tried to stop him. The locals then ran after the accused and surrounded him and beat him up.

Dhar Superintendent of Police Mayank Awasthi described the incident as a heartbreaking murder. The body of the accused has been sent for postmortem. A judicial inquiry has been ordered into the incident. The family of the accused, Mahesh, has stated that it has been days since he went missing from his home. It is also alleged that he tried to steal goods from a shop an hour before killing the child.
