Ladakh conflict: 15 dead; Magisterial inquiry announced

 

 

Clashes continue in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. So far, 15 people, including twelve civilians and three policemen, have been reported dead in firing by security forces following protests. More than 200 people have been injured.

Meanwhile, the government has announced a magisterial inquiry into the conflict. The conflict broke out on September 24 during a peaceful protest demanding independent status for Ladakh.
