Two planes collide in New York; One person was injured

 

 

Two passenger planes crash in New York. Two Delta Airlines passenger planes collided at LaGuardia Airport. The incident occurred while the planes were moving along the taxiway. The impact of the collision caused the wing of one of the planes to come off. There are also reports that one person was injured in the accident.

The accident occurred at around 9:56 pm local time on Wednesday. The front of one plane hit the right wing of the other plane, news agencies reported, citing air traffic control. After landing in New York, flight DL5047 from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, one of its wings got caught on another Delta regional jet and came off.
