Taiwan increases oil imports from Russia

 

 

US President Donald Trump has repeatedly said that the war in Ukraine is being waged using the money India receives when it buys oil from Russia. Western countries often accuse China of this. But now reports indicate that in addition to India and China, Taiwan has also increased its imports from Russia.

Taiwan has surpassed India in the import of the petrochemical product naphtha and topped the list of Russian imports. Taiwan is also a country that has friendly relations with the United States. When the tariffs were imposed, Trump imposed an additional 25 percent penalty on India just for buying Russian oil. But the world is watching closely to see if Trump will impose additional tariffs on Taiwan, a friendly country.
