Former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga has passed away. He had come to Kerala for treatment. He suffered a heart attack during his morning walk. His daughter and relatives were with him. He was taken to Devamatha Hospital, Koothattukulam due to physical discomfort, but he died. The body is being kept at the hospital. Other arrangements, including bringing the body back to the country, will be taken through the embassy. The body will be taken by a special plane from Kenya.

He had come to Sridhariya for treatment. The Ayurvedic eye treatment he underwent in Kerala for his daughter Rosemary Odinga was very effective. This time, he came for his treatment. The treatment he underwent in Kerala was mentioned in the Prime Minister's Mann Ki Baat.
