Hair in food on Air India flight; Court orders compensation of Rs 35,000

 

 

The Madras High Court has ordered a compensation of Rs 35,000 in the case of hair found in food served on an Air India flight. The High Court had reduced the compensation amount to Rs 35,000 in an appeal filed by Air India against the civil court order to pay compensation of Rs 1 lakh.

A passenger on an Air India flight from Colombo to Chennai found hair in his food. He approached the court after he complained to the flight attendants but no action was taken.
