Aakansha Sharma Scales New Heights – Conquers Mount Elbrus

 

 

 

Aakansha Sharma from Rajasthan has achieved an extraordinary milestone by conquering Mount Elbrus, the tallest mountain in Europe, rising nearly 18,500 feet above sea level.

Enduring freezing winds and temperatures plunging below –25°C, Aakansha stood proudly at the summit, waving the Indian spirit to the world. With no other Indian climbers by her side that day, her solo success symbolized sheer strength and determination.

Her preparation was equally inspiring — daily runs carrying heavy backpacks, mountaineering courses, and rigorous physical training shaped her journey to the peak. Despite being a structural engineer by profession, her love for mountains led her to explore new heights beyond the technical world.

Aakansha now dreams of completing the Seven Summits Challenge, climbing the highest peaks on each continent, including Mount Everest. Her success proves that courage and consistency can take you to the top of the world — literally.
