Former Indian cricket team captain Mohammad Azharuddin sworn in as Telangana minister

 

 

Former Indian cricket team captain and Congress leader Mohammad Azharuddin was sworn in as a member of the Telangana cabinet. Governor Jishnu Dev Verma administered the oath to him at the Raj Bhavan. With Azharuddin's addition, the number of members in the Revanth Reddy cabinet has reached sixteen. Azharuddin is the first Muslim member of the cabinet.
