Indian national abducted by rebel forces in Sudan

 

 

Amid the ongoing civil war in Sudan, an Indian national has been abducted by rebel forces. Adarsh Behra, 36, from Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha, was abducted by the Rapid Support Force in Sudan. Efforts are underway to secure his release. Sudanese Ambassador to India Mohammed Abdullah Ali Elthom said that his country is closely coordinating with the Sudanese authorities and the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.

Meanwhile, a video has emerged showing Adarsh Behra sitting with RSF soldiers. In the video, one of them asks Behra if he knows Shah Rukh Khan, according to a national media report.
