Red Fort blast: Report says accused planned to carry out blast on Republic Day and Diwali

 

 

The accused had reportedly reached the premises of the Red Fort in Delhi before carrying out the blast. The investigation team got crucial information from the interrogation of Muzammil Shakeel, who was arrested from Faridabad with explosives. It was also clarified during the interrogation that the accused had planned to carry out blasts at other places.

Muzammil stated during the interrogation that he had planned to carry out the blast on Republic Day on January 26, 2026. The accused also stated during the interrogation that they had planned to carry out the blast on Diwali but could not carry it out.
