Nepal: Another Gen Zee riot; Youths take to the streets

 

Another Gen Zee riot in Nepal. On Wednesday, a group of youths clashed with CPN-UML activists in Nepal's Bara district. Following this, a curfew was imposed in the area, the news agency reported. It was reported that clashes between protesters and police took place in the early hours of the morning. Six protesters were injured.

The clash began after CPN-UML leaders planned to visit Bara district ahead of the elections scheduled for March 5, 2026.
