Education: Raised in Bengaluru, Subramanya graduated in Electronics & Communications from Bangalore University in 2001. He then completed his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington in the United States.
Google: He worked at Google for 16 years and was the head of engineering for Gemini, the company's flagship generative A.I. assistant.
Microsoft: He served as a corporate vice president at Microsoft for a few months before joining Apple.
Industry analysts believe that his reputation for connecting A.I. research and real-world product development will help Apple in the increasingly competitive A.I. space.
