UAE steps up nazification; expatriates concerned

 

 

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization has directed that this year's 2 percent nazification under the UAE's nazification program, Nafis, be completed by December 31. It has also been warned that strict action will be taken against companies that do not hire nationals by 31st, starting January 1, 2026. A fine of 96,000 dirhams will be imposed per person for not hiring nationals.
