IndiGo flight crisis: Rs 827 crore refunded so far

 

 

Due to the crisis in IndiGo flight services, the company has so far refunded Rs 827 crore as refunds for cancelled tickets. This amount has been refunded for 9.55 lakh PNRs (Passenger Name Records). From December 1 to 7, when the crisis was at its peak, 5.86 lakh PNR tickets were canceled. The refund value of these alone is Rs 569.65 crore. From November 21 to December 7, this totals to Rs 827 crore.

The deadline set by the Center for refunding the amount was 8 pm on Sunday.
