H1B visa fee hike: 20 states led by California sue Trump

 

 

20 states led by California are suing US President Donald Trump's H1B visa fee hike. They argue that the policy of a fee of US$100,000 is illegal and threatens essential public services such as health, education, etc.

The policy is being implemented by the Department of Homeland Security following Trump's presidential order in September.
