12 people have been reported killed in a shooting at Sydney's tourist destination Bondi Beach. The shooting took place at around 6.45 pm local time. Several injured people have been admitted to nearby hospitals. The public has been warned not to go to Bondi Beach until further notice.
One person has been identified in the incident. One of the gunmen is Naveed Akram (24). Police are raiding Akram's house in Bonnyrigg, Sydney. Police have taken two people into custody in the incident. The attack took place while a Jewish celebration was taking place on the beach.
