US court allows police to examine Google search history

 

 

A US court has ruled that police can examine Google search history. Police can conduct searches without a warrant as part of a case investigation. The recent ruling by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court makes it clear that internet users who search on Google cannot expect privacy related to their searches.

The court ruling stated that users should not expect that the things they search on Google will be private unless additional security is ensured, media reported.
