A businessman who was in critical condition after being set on fire during a mob attack in Bangladesh has died. Khokon Chandradas died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dhaka. Khokon, who ran a medical and mobile banking business in a village 150 km from Dhaka, was attacked by a group of people on Wednesday as he was returning home after closing his shop.
The assailants set fire during the mob attack. Khokon was seriously injured even though he jumped into a pond to escape.
