Jana Nayakan release to be delayed; Madras High Court stays single bench verdict

 

 

Madras High Court stays release of Vijay starrer Jana Nayakan. The division bench stayed the single bench order that allowed the release. The division bench's action was on the appeal of the Censor Board.

The order was stayed by a bench headed by Chief Justice MM Srivastava and Justice G Arul Murugan. The Censor Board clarified that it did not give time to file a reply. However, Chief Justice MM Srivastava opined that this is not a case that needs to be considered with urgency. The case will be considered again on the 21st.
