Iran protests: Death toll in Tehran passes 200

 

 

The death toll in Iran has reportedly passed 200 as protests against the government escalate. Time magazine reported, citing a doctor, that this was the figure from only six hospitals in Tehran. Most of the deaths were caused by gunfire.

Human rights groups have reported a lower death toll. Human rights groups have said that 63 people have died since the protests began
