Pongal smoke obscures visibility; 14 flights cancelled in Chennai

 

 

A bogie burning waste on the day of Pongal celebrations disrupted flight and train services. As the runway was obscured by fog and smoke, 14 flights were cancelled at Chennai airport. 10 flights were delayed by up to 3 hours.
