US Tariffs: India has the lowest tariff among Asian countries

 

 

After US President Donald Trump announced a trade deal with India, India has become the country with the lowest tariff among Asian countries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced that the tariff has been reduced from 25 percent to 18 percent.

The tariff rates of other major Asian countries are Pakistan 19 percent, Bangladesh 20 percent, Vietnam 19 percent, Malaysia 19 percent, Cambodia 19 percent, and Thailand 19 percent.
