India set to sign biggest arms deal in history

 

 

India to buy 114 more French-made Rafale fighter jets for its Air Force. The 114 more aircraft will be part of the Indian Air Force in addition to the existing 36 Rafale aircraft. The Defence Ministry is expected to approve the Rs 3.25 lakh crore deal this week, according to reports.

India is ordering more Rafale aircraft as part of the Air Force's multi-role fighter aircraft programme. The deal is likely to be finalised before French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to India.
