West Asian conflict: Celebrations canceled at Dubai Global Village

 

 

Due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia, all celebrations have been canceled at Dubai Global Village. There will be no Eid celebrations. There will be no fireworks and drone shows as part of the celebrations, Global Village officials said, adding that the decision was made in accordance with government instructions. Global Village is currently closed indefinitely due to the escalating local tensions.

The center has been closed as part of a security measure since the attack began on February 28. Several tourist attractions, including Dubai Parks and Resorts and Ain Dubai, have also been temporarily closed as a precautionary measure.
