India to send more warships to Hormuz

 

 

The Indian Navy is to send more warships to ensure the safe passage of Indian ships through the Strait of Hormuz, which is in crisis following the war in the Middle East. The Indian warship will be deployed in the waters off the coast of Oman, in the southern part of the Strait of Hormuz.

The Navy's new move is in the hope that Iran may allow more Indian-flagged fuel ships to pass through this route.
