Sustainable travel: India ranks third in the list of world travelers

 

 

A survey by digital travel platform Agoda has revealed that modern travelers are giving more importance to sustainable travel. The results of the survey conducted among travelers across nine countries in Asia have come out. Thailand is at the top of the list of those who consider sustainable travel the most. India is at third place.

95 percent of Thais consider sustainable travel important. Indonesia is next with 93 percent. India and Malaysia share the third place with 88 percent.

More and more people want to turn their travels into unique experiences. Many also believe that travel should benefit the local communities in the destinations they travel to.
