Tiffin delivery service, one of the most important services in the city, has been temporarily suspended. The Mumbai Dabbawala Association has announced that tiffin delivery operations will be suspended for six days from March 30 to April 4. This break is a regular occurrence every year.
The holiday gives workers working in the dabbawala network an opportunity to return to their hometowns and participate in religious ceremonies and traditional festivals. Tiffin delivery services in Mumbai and its suburbs will be completely suspended during this period.
