Iran says it will not open Hormuz in exchange for temporary ceasefire

 

Iran says it will not open the Strait of Hormuz even if a temporary ceasefire is reached as part of the mediation talks. The proposal to hold peace talks and open the Strait of Hormuz, effective from Monday, was put forward as part of the peace talks. However, Iran has made it clear that its position remains unchanged.
