Washington: Four terrorists were killed in a US military attack on a ship that was smuggling drugs in the eastern Pacific Ocean. They were killed in a special operation by the US Southern Command targeting drug traffickers and terrorists.

The attack was carried out on April 14 by 'Joint Task Force Southern Spear' under the direction of General Francis L. Donovan.

Objective: The military's objective was to disrupt ships operated by terrorist organizations and drug trafficking routes.

Background: Similar attacks have taken place in the Pacific region in recent days. Two drug traffickers were killed in another attack on Monday.

Southcom said that no American soldiers were injured in this operation.

The US military has intensified such operations as part of its efforts to dismantle drug trafficking networks on the Central and South American coasts. The military has not released details of those killed.
