NASA astronaut who returned from space mission says he was moved by seeing the cross

Houston: NASA commander Reed Wiseman, who returned to Earth after completing the Artemis 2 mission, has opened up about his space experiences. Although he is not a religious person, he said that the intense experience he had when he returned after a trip around the moon made him cry.

Wiseman revealed that he asked to see a Navy chaplain immediately after his return and burst into tears when he saw the cross on his vest. He said at a press conference in Houston that the reason for this was the change in mentality that occurred after seeing the wonder of the universe and the uniqueness of the Earth firsthand. The 10-day Artemis 2 mission was successfully completed last week.
