Meta begins global layoffs

 

 

 

Meta has begun a mass layoff process that will affect about 8,000 employees worldwide. International media reports that thousands of employees began receiving layoff emails early Wednesday.

Employees in Singapore also received layoff emails as early as 4 a.m. local time on Wednesday, the report said.
