Massive explosion in New York; Over 200 officials deployed for rescue operations

 

 

New York: More than 200 emergency services personnel were deployed to the scene of a massive explosion and fire on Staten Island, New York, on May 22. The extensive rescue operation was carried out by the fire department, EMS teams and police.

The exact cause of the explosion is not yet clear. Authorities said that an investigation into the incident is underway.
