Setback for expatriates; Indigenization in the nursing sector in the UAE as well

 

 

The UAE is preparing to hire more natives in the nursing sector. It is trying to attract more people by announcing more benefits in the sector and making the job more attractive. In two years, 1897 natives have chosen nursing jobs.

The number of natives among the total nurses in the country is 2.8 percent. Although plans were previously formulated to attract more people, the goal of indigenization could not be achieved. In this situation, the ministry is embarking on more promotional programs.
