FIFA World Cup: First Malayali in the team

 

 

Coach Julen Lopetegui has announced the 26-member final squad of the Qatar national football team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Malayali player Tahsin Mohammed Jamshed, a native of Kannur Thalassery, has also been included in the team. This is the first time a Malayali has been included in a national team for the FIFA World Cup.
