Fire breaks out in Delhi hotel; 21 dead

21 dead in a fire at a hotel in Delhi's Malviya Nagar. The fire broke out at the Lemon Green hotel around 9 am. The fire spread from the restaurant on the ground floor to the rooms above. The bodies were found during an inspection after the fire was completely extinguished. Most of the people in the hotel were South Africans.

Many people jumped from the upper windows to escape the fire. The fire broke out in a five-storey building. It is believed that about 40 people were in the building in 25 rooms when the incident occurred. The cause of the fire has not been determined yet. The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
