Ship attacked near Hormuz; 24 Indian sailors trapped, report says

 

 

A drone attack has been reported on a cargo ship off the coast of Oman near the Strait of Hormuz. It is reported that 24 Indian sailors are trapped on the Palau-flagged ship.

The attack on the ship took place about 15 nautical miles off the coast of Oman. The attack caused an explosion in the engine room and the ship lost control.
