With the lifting of the US military blockade, Hormuz is back to normal. More ships will arrive in India from the Strait of Hormuz. It is reported that about 40 ships are preparing to leave for India. Most of the ships are fueled by LPG. The ships are preparing to pass through Hormuz following the US-Iran peace agreement.
The government believes that with these ships passing through Hormuz and reaching India, the energy crisis that has been going on in India for the past few days will ease. The first ship that left for India will arrive at the Dahej port in Gujarat today. The ship will arrive with 62,370 metric tons of LNG.
