Central government calls Telegram a dark web

 

 

The central government has raised serious allegations against the social media platform Telegram in the Delhi High Court. The center argued in the court that Telegram is being widely misused for various illegal activities including terrorism, cybercrime, drug trafficking, child abuse and financial fraud.

The center also described Telegram as a new dark web that those who carry out such activities use to escape the eyes of the legal system.
