Twin earthquakes in Venezuela have killed 920 people. Reports say the death toll could rise. About 250 people were pulled from the rubble in La Guaira. Hundreds remain trapped. Rescue workers have not yet been able to reach many areas. There are reports that a lack of equipment is also affecting the rescue operation.
The Venezuelan government said that 383 buildings, 13 hospitals, 25 shopping centers and 1,002 other infrastructure facilities were destroyed in the earthquake.
