Raja Krishnamurthy calls for strengthening India-US cooperation to counter Chinese challenge

Washington DC: Indian-origin US Congressman Raja Krishnamurthy has called for further strengthening the partnership between India and the United States to effectively counter threats from China.

He called for the two countries to join hands in artificial intelligence (AI), quantum computing, fusion energy, solar power and security sectors. China poses the biggest challenge of our time. He said that both countries still have a lot to do to meet this challenge. Internal discrimination and divisions should be reduced and democracy should be strengthened.

He also added that immigration policies should be changed to speed up things for Indian professionals who are H-1B visa holders and have been waiting for green cards for decades.
