Indiana: A court in Anderson, Indiana, has sentenced 15-year-old Jomajse Lari to 100 years in prison for a murder case that took place in February 2025.
The sentence was imposed in the February 2, 2025 shooting death of Dela Swain.
Lari was found guilty of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy, gang activity, and illegal possession of a firearm.
Judge David Happe sentenced him to a total of 100 years, including 50 years for the murder and 50 years for being a member of a gang.
Since he was a minor at the time of the crime, Lari can petition for a reduction in his sentence after completing at least 20 years in prison, regardless of good behavior and educational qualifications.
