Pregnant girlfriend beaten to death with baseball bat: Suspect sentenced to 30 years in prison

 

 

New Jersey: The suspect was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the murder of his pregnant girlfriend with a baseball bat. The court sentenced Boris Lynes-Rosales (28), a New Jersey native. The victim was 25-year-old Leslieanne Quintana-Betancourt. The woman and her unborn child died in the brutal attack.

Although the suspect initially tried to make the woman fall down the stairs and destroy evidence, he later pleaded guilty to first-degree murder. Police recovered a bloody bat and other evidence from the back of the house.

The 30-year sentence imposed by Judge Joseph Levine means that the suspect will not be eligible for early release or parole.
