Sexual assault at Ontario amusement park; Indian-origin security guard arrested

 

 

Toronto: York Regional Police have arrested a 19-year-old Indian-origin man for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at an amusement park in the city of Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. The suspect has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

The suspect, identified as Jugaad Dhami, a Brampton resident, was arrested on May 25 after the woman was riding a ride at the park with friends when the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted her during a security check.

York Regional Police have released a photo of the suspect to the public, citing suspicions that there may be more victims in the incident. Authorities said that anyone who has had a similar experience should not hesitate to contact the police, and that since there is no statute of limitations for sexual crimes, complaints can be filed even after years have passed.
