The death toll in the flash floods in Nepal has risen to 626. The search continues for 320 Indians, including Malayalis. The rescue mission in Trishuli, which was suspended due to heavy rains, has resumed. An eleven-member Indian rescue team, including tunnel rescue experts, has participated in the rescue mission in Nepal.
Nepal's President expressed his gratitude to Draupadi Murmu and the Government of India for their generous support and solidarity with Nepal. Meanwhile, the search for the missing is progressing vigorously on the fourth day after the flash floods. Heavy rains and warnings of a dam collapse in the Tibet region have adversely affected the rescue operation.
