Tamil Nadu government withdraws cases against farmers, teachers

 

 

The Tamil Nadu government has withdrawn cases against farmers and teachers. Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay informed the Assembly that the action was taken against cases during the DMK regime. The farmers were protesting against the Paranthur Airport and the Sipcot Industrial Estate.

A case has also been registered against the teachers' protest for benefits. Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay informed the Assembly that the cases are being withdrawn and that TVK is with those fighting for their rights.
